As technology advances, employers and employees are recognizing
the many benefits of commute savings programs. For example, the
Gartner Group predicted that, by 2003, one-third of the U.S. workforce,
and more than 137 million users worldwide, will engage in at least
part-time telecommuting as a function of their employment contract.
Companies, employees and communities all share in the rewards.
We have created a CommuteSaver tracking service to help implement
and manage public-private partnership programs to reduce commuter
congestion, improve air quality, and reduce energy consumption.
The basic tools used within this service include web-based software
that calculates and tracks auto emission reductions resulting from
telecommuting and other transportation control measures.
